The Single Mom blog is a place to come for advice on all aspects of our lives, from family time to work to how to take care of ourselves. This blog is being created to be a community where we can all help each other on this life adventure. Whether you are single by choice or not, this is the community for you.

I encourage each of you to contribute your ideas and experiences when commenting on the posts in this blog. Through this, we can all benefit from each others advice. We may not always agree with each other, but respectful comments are always helpful.

A little about myself:

My name is Shannon. I am a single mother of two, and I have been single most of my adult life. This is (usually) a conscious choice on my part. My daughters are eighteen and sixteen and, at this time, I my ten year old nephew is living with us.

I am a WAHM (work-at-home mom). I provide childcare, write and scrapbook to earn money for my little family. This is my tenth year as a homeschool mom (and now aunty!).
