A Single Mom and an Affordable Thanksgiving

Happy November all! Hope you are all doing well. This month we are all excited about Thanksgiving. It is an exciting time around here.

In order to cut corners, we have decided to purchase a Thanksgiving box from IGA. By doing this, we will save a few dollars on the whole package, though there are a few elements missing like a second pie, a quick bread and eggnog.

This is okay. If my sister and the boys eat with us, they will bring these items. If they don’t, then my daughter and I have decided that they are not truly necessary.

Why are we cutting these corners? Well, we both want to see New Moon at the theater. We are planning to see this just before Thanksgiving. It will be great fun for us.
