It is a sad thing when a family goes through a divorce, especially when their are children involved. I am seeing the damage that can be done first hand now that my friend is going through a divorce. My friends life is changing drastically, as is her sons. It is hard going through all of these changes, and there will be many more to come. They have to find their new places in this big wide world, and they have to learn to live differently. This can be very difficult. A notable woman who is also going through a divorce is Kate from Jon and Kate Plus 8. Can you imagine suddently becoming a single mother to 8 young children? That has got to be a big adjustment for her and her children. Lolli posted a letter to Kate on The Witchita Eagle site. Her post gives some good information that soon-to-be divorced moms should pay attention to. I am seeing much of this with my friends situation, and I can remember when my parents divorced. I am planning to see if there is a way in which I can show Kate my support for her new life. Shannon Comments |
