Keeping your family healthy is a big responsibility, and it is not always easy. For instance, we cannot control what our children eat and drink when they are outside of the home.
Here are some things that you will want to consider concerning the health of your family:
- Immunizations: Check out the pros and the cons, as well as the ingredients that go into these things and their possible side effects, then make an informed decision.
- Alternative health: All to often, general health care is unsatisfactory. What options are avaible and trustworthy.
- ADHD/ODD: Look into natural methods for treatment of these, and don’t let people force drugs on your child. Medicating is not always the answer. A lot of people see good results within a few weeks of trying fish oil supplements. I’m just saying…look into all of your options.
- Additives and preservatives: Look at the ingredients and research health concerns.
- Serving sizes: Research these for each age group, male and female. Feed your family accordingly. Seconds should be with fruits or vegetables. Also research the number of servings of each food that your family eats. Do not go by labels on food. It is now being recommended that you eat more fruits and vegetable than they were recommending before.
- Fitness: Exercise should not be limited to one hour a day, for anyone. Family walks are great. Less driving, more walking. There are also many family oriented exercise videos available now.
