Crafty children have great imaginations. They are creating all of the time, and need many outlets to do so. Each household, of course, will have to take into consideration the ages of the children.

Here are some tips for providing children with opportunities to be crafty:

1. Summer rec programs often have crafts for children to do.

2. Keep these on hand: Coloring books, colored paper, crayons, colored pencils, drawing pads, notebooks, markers, and pencils.

3. For each child, provide a palstic shoe box with lid filled with: Crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencils, stapler and staples, tape, glue. glue sticks, notepads, erasers, a ruler, a compass, a protractor, and stickers.

4. It may be necessary to save odds and ends like yarn scraps, a few toilet paper cardboard centers, buttons, feathers, etc. for those who are extra crafty.

Do you have any tips for what to provide crafty children?
