Easter Riddles

This is an activity that I used to do with my daughters. Until they could read, I would help them. I started this with them when they were toddlers.

The Easter bunny puts a slip of paper into each of their baskets that has a riddle on written on it. The riddle leads them to their first egg, which has another slip of paper with it with another riddle written on it. This goes on until all of the eggs are found.

Leaving this trail enabled me to know that all of the eggs were found.

Here are some examples of riddles that you could use. Make sure to tailor your riddles to each child’s abilities.

* Your first egg can be found under Dad’s favorite place, to the front and on the left. (His chair)

* Your second egg can be found to the left of something jammin’. (Stereo)

You get the picture. My sister used to bring her sons over to do the egg hunts with us.

How do your children find their eggs? Share your experiences with us in the comments.

Thank you,

Shannon
