Educational Videos for Teens

There are many educational videos that teens will enjoy. They often like to learn about real life situations, especially as far as history goes. I suggest movies based on real events. These are for more mature people, and may have partial nudity. Certainly, there is violence.

  • Dances with Wolves
  • The Blue and the Grey/The North and the South
  • Gone with the Wind
  • The Diary of Anne Frank
  • Pearl Harbor
  • I still recommend the old after school specials. They were great! I still watch them.

There are great channels if you have cable or a dish network:

  • TLC
  • The Discovery Channel
  • The History Channel

What are the best options that you have found for educational videos for teens? Please share them in the comments section.

Thank you,

Shannon
