Educational Videos for Toddlers and Preschoolers

While I do not necessarily agree that toddlers and preschoolers need to be inundated with academic opportunities, I do believe that what they do watch should be of an educational nature.

I love Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer for this age, but I prefer to keep videos on hand for children in this age group. Here are some great videos for toddlers and preschoolers:

  • The Preschool Prep Company offers 7 educational videos at $14.95 each plus shipping. The topics covered are shapes, colors, letters, numbers, and three levels of sight words.
  • Baby Einstein has videos for rhyming, ABC’s and more.
  • If you would like your child to learn sign language, then check this out.
  • Muzzy BBC is a foreign language program. It is never to early to start a child learning a new language. Muzzy teaches, English, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, German, and Italian.

What are your favorite educational videos for toddlers and preschoolers? Please share them with us in the comments.

Thank you.
