Toddler’s and Chores

As single moms, we often feel like we have too much on our plates. What with working, cooking, cleaning and taking care of the children, we barely have any time for ourselves.

Little do some moms know that toddlers can be counted upon to help out. They usually even enjoy doing ‘big people’s work’.

This is great practice for them at their age. They will not do their tasks perfectly, but this is the time for mom to start training them by working beside them while they learn.

Here are some very helpful tasks that your toddlers are capable of:

  • They can ‘make their beds.’
  • They can put toys in a toy box.
  • They can put dirty laundry in a basket.
  • They can wash their high chair tray before they get down.
  • They can pick things up and hand them to you.

Toddlers love to help mommy out, so why not let them.

P.S. What tasks can your toddler handle? Let us know by posting to the comments. Thank you.
