Single Mothers and Walking

Walking is a great form of exercise, as well as a wonderful leisure activity, especially when you find yourself child-free.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your face, and be sure to notice all that natures has to offer, while you are out on a leisurely walk. You’re not in a marathon, and you will notice that noticing nature can be very therapeutic. You will notice more and more things about nature, that you may have not noticed before.

When you are walking to exercise, be sure to have a water bottle with you, and try to choose a nice place to walk. You can still see what nature has to offer, even while walking the faster pace. You can do this with your dog, or your children, if you choose.

Let us know what your favorite things in nature are to notice while walking.
